If you are guessing somewhere to stay inside the Paine Towers National Park , that you could appreciate all of Paine’s majesty, here it is and it’s a full equipped camping for your accommodation. On our latest trip on a Masai Camper to the south we could experience first hand Rio Serrano Camping, and we highly recommend it. Seriously it’s gorgeous.
This place overflows peace, has all the amenities you need for glamping, camping with glamour, and has an spectacular view to the massif. It offers electricity, freshwater, 48 spots for parking with picnic tables, bathrooms with hot water on the showers, and a beautiful dining space.
After doing the W circuit to the towers we got to this camping space operated by the Chamber of compensation from Los Andes and we felt so glad it is so comfortable and still maintains all the charm of the mountain view and the delight of the Serrano River flowing nearby. So we felt our adventure continues.
To get there you have to travel the route 9 in direction to Torres del Paine and take a detour to road Y290 for about one hour. Once there you will only have to pay 10.000 CLP per person to stay the night.
Rio Serrano Camping is a great place to start or finish your expedition to the eighth wonder of the world, Paine Towers. You can have a hot bath while staying in the nature, enjoy their kitchen and maybe maridate your food with some wine.
A fantastic view and the whole experience of the chilean Patagonia.
